2017 have been a year of many mini trends but some of the top trends I've personally seen among young adults are the grunge look, cartoon looks, and bralettes for the females. These unique trends have been popular not only in America but worldwide as well especially the grunge and cartoon styles in Japan.

GRUNGE

This trend started all the way back in the 1990's for both sexes. This look consists of flannels, mom jeans, combat boots, skirts, band shirts, and ripped pieces of clothing. Some accessories that completes the look are piercings and tattoos. Specifically spectrum piercings that resembles a bull ring.

pop art

A simple painting of Campbell's soup suddenly created a whole new world to art. Pop art originated in the 1950's and have evolved since then. From letter fonts to cartoon characters, this eye-catching style is sure to capture the hearts of those who love colors.

Bralettes

This piece of wardrobe have been popular since 2016 and is still continuing to grow into 2017. A bralette is a piece of fabric that covers the breasts of a female. It is usually worn as bras and comes in many different shapes and designs. Usually lace and flower designs and comes in straps or halter. Girls usually match bralettes with off shoulder tops or any top that is more rounded to have the straps show. They are meant to be shown unlike normal bras, that's why there are more designs

Progress: Finding styles of 2017 was not a hard one because so many people wear these nowadays that by simply going to the mall, you can see these styles everywhere. Especially Forever 21, pop art and bralettes are at least 65% of the entire store. There were so many different colors, patterns, and styles that are new to me. There were also a variety of see through clothes with pop art on them. These were very interesting styles that are getting more popular and popular by day.

Reflection: As a teenager living in 2017, these styles were something that I see almost daily. I even own some of these myself. I think these pieces of clothing are very unique and it's something that has never been introduced to the world until 2016. I enjoy wearing these and many of my friends wear them too. They also recommend certain places for the better price or quality. I hope to continue to see these styles in the future.
