With elegant fashion also comes with outrageous fashion. These very unique fashion shows have brought the attention of many people and can be an amazing influence to see a new perspective on what can be worn on ones body. From the ceilings to the bottom of their shoes, every detail was taken into thought and carefully planned out by these high-end designers.

Tommy Hilfiger

For their Spring/Summer 2016 collection, Tommy Hilfiger brought the island-inspired Caribbean's to New York City. By transforming a bare warehouse into an island themed setting, they were able to transport attendees into Tommy's vision of the chic beach line. The models showcased a vibrant and youthful fit for a tropical look from the catwalk including creative, colorful swimwear and laid-back dresses perfect for the warm weather.

Moschino

Known for its innovative and colorful styles, Moschino has built a reputation with having high fashion with street style, often incorporating pop-culture icons such as Barbie, McDonald's, or Looney Tunes. Creative director Jeremy Scott has worked with many celebrities including Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, CL, and many more. He has also collaborated with Adidas for footwear.

Hood By Air

Hood By Air is a successful underground NYC label in the form of an iconic high-fashion and street brand, and is a whole new category of "fuccboi" fashion. The casual, black and white style is famous for having a bold "HBA" logo, white on black or black on white. HBA suggests a new range of beauty for both male and female, and even those who might not readily identify as a male or female. Although this brand are often copied, versioned, and knocked off, Shayne Oliver, designer of HBA, still manages to present an iconic style in the simple but bold and unique styles.

Betsey Johnson

This American designer best known for her whimsical and feminine designs are often "over the top" with her embellished outfits. She is also known for doing a cartwheel at the end of her fashion shows. From the 1960s "Youthquake" movement to the 70s when punk rock took over her inspiration for creating fashion for a new generation. By incorporating bright, neon, puffed sleeves, and low waists, she developed her whimsical, hippie style. Characterized by use many uses of unique fabrics such as shower curtains.

Thom Browne

Designer Thom Browne made his brand a balance of conceptual and commercial. He believes fashion is business and you have to approach it as a business. He is a showman with very interesting theatrics including models being tied down to beds and emerging from coffins, or models wearing twisted versions of a nun's habit and disrobed by male models dressed like priests. His interests lays in sports and school so he incorporates the sports gear in his collections like tennis racket-printed trench coasts or football jersey mesh.

Progress: With unique people comes unique fashion and runways. Some fashion brands or designers have high expectations on their settings and locations. I found that these were some of the designers who had a very interesting design waiting to be presented to the world. Some had a really nice background and some just had really nice clothes on a simple runway. Every designer is different and it really shows their creativity through how they plan out each outfit and designs for the setting and location.

Reflection: Knowing how creative people can get makes me think and wonder how I can also be more creative with my thoughts. They have ideas that no one has ever thought about doing for a fashion show but they still go through with it and make it amazing. The most important part is making it their own. They are able to showcase exactly what they had in mind to the public. I'm glad I was able to discover these unique and influential shows from these well-known designers.
